AMA presently acts as convener for two Trade Bureaux - the Food, Beverage and Allied Trades Bureau and the Adelaide Metals Bureau - providing a forum in which Credit Managers of companies within these industry groups meet to exchange commercial information on debtor accounts that are of concern to them. We freely contribute information from our own records, such as matters placed for collection, judgments, appointment of Administrators etc., for the benefit of the members.
The Trade Bureau philosophy is strongly supported by AMA and we ensure that, at all times, meetings are conducted in such a way as to provide members with the highest value information as well as informed advice in respect of their rights, or otherwise, under the Trade Practices Act.
Credit Managers who attend bureau meetings take away with them more than just information; they have the invaluable experience of regular face-to-face meetings with their peers - networking.
